Jerry Lowe is a creative professional with over 20 years of experience as an art director, graphic designer and copywriter. His skills include creative concepting, TV and radio production, graphic design and copywriting.
Jerry started his career with Deen & Black Public Relations in Sacramento. There he worked on a number of public service campaigns, including “Click it or Ticket” for the California Office of Traffic Safety, and “Don’t Trash California” for Caltrans.
Later, with Ogilvy, he was fortunate to work on two landmark campaigns of national significance: the effort in 2008 to defeat California’s Prop 8, and the firm’s important work for California’s version of the Affordable Care Act, Covered California.
For nearly 10 years, he was a part of the team that helped the California Treasurer’s Office sell over $90 billion in bonds. A key part of the strategy was creating 60-second radio ads (which Jerry wrote and produced) that aired on NPR, jazz and talk radio stations and targeted high-income potential investors.
Jerry now works with a variety of clients including Partnership HealthPlan of California, Blue Shield of California, Bongo Films and the Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD). He has received five TELLY awards, a gold SABRE award, a POLLIE award and 77 ADDY awards.
